Welcome to Robotics and Intelligent Systems Lab (RIS)! This new research lab, led by Dr. Xiangyi Cheng, focuses on technologies and applications in robotics, augmented reality, and other intelligent systems, incorporating human-computer/robot interactions, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.

At RIS, “See Through” embodies our commitment to advancing robotics and intelligent systems through extensive utilization of AI-enhanced, vision-based methodologies, including AR and computer vision. Our mission is to develop innovative robotic prototypes and provide an elevated human-machine interaction experience, especially in the areas of healthcare and education.
